Following the success of the B4-30 through bushing, and due to customer demand, Ter-Mate has now launched the bigger and equally versatile B4-50.

The new B4-50 is larger than the B4-30 and allows increased interconnection and field connection for control panels and switchboards safely and efficiently.

The unit allows simple integration into Forms 3 and 4 Segregation, ensuring all functional units in incoming and outgoing terminals are separated from the busbar system.

It also conforms to the material requirements of BS EN60439 the European technical standard for low-voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies.

The B4-50 is manufactured from high quality, self extinguishing thermoplastic.

Its unique design makes it easy to install and provides the flexibility of housing four conductor sizes: 50 x 10, 40 x 10, 20 x 10 and 25 x 5mm.

An insulating boot is also available, which provides increased protection for the through bushing and meets the requirements of Form 4 Type 5.

Manufactured from flame retardant PVC, it can be customised to suit the user's connection requirements.
