The UK's premier supplier of integrated control and asset management solutions, Transmitton, has appointed Davina Ann Austin as Marketing Manager.

The UK's premier supplier of integrated control and asset management solutions, Transmitton, has appointed Davina Ann Austin as Marketing Manager Andy Baum, previously Business Manager encompassing the marketing role, is taking a more senior management role within the company and joins the board of directors

Austin aged 25, joins from Nottingham-based TEW Engineering Group where she has been part of the marketing team since 2002.

As a BSc (Hons) graduate in product design, innovation and marketing from the University of Derby, her career started at Jasmin, specialist in software and systems integration in the defence and transport sectors.

She says: "I am looking forward to the challenges ahead at Transmitton - being in a highly innovative and specialist business environment will develop and stimulate me to progress marketing in the company".

A member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), Austin has just completed her Professional Diploma in Marketing and has aspirations, with the support of Transmitton, to complete all her CIM qualifications and reach Chartered Marketer level.

Managing Director Ian Wright said: "We are delighted to welcome Davina".

"She has a good grounding in marketing in our core industry sectors already and I 'm certain she will prove to be a real asset to the Transmitton team".
