Modular design gives over 500 robot configurations
The BA series ROIbot uses a modular building block design, allowing single or dual axis configurations to be built from the same standard components.
Further benefits of TM's SCARA technology to this sector include conveyor synchronisation capacity, a feature which fulfils the needs of the food packaging industry, and a multi tasking ability which facilitates smooth connectivity to vision systems.
Nigel Smith, managing director of TM Robotics, said, "Thanks to our agreement with A and R, we are ideally placed to become part of the very strong electrical industry that Ireland boasts.
We were attracted to A and R because of its reputation for reliability and its understanding of innovation, both of which are vital in the industry." A and R was launched in September at the Pakex Materials Handling show in Dublin, as a consequence of its parent company, Pak Automation Ltd, diversifying further into the automation industry.
Pak was established in 1983 and placed a heavy emphasis on electronic control systems, which are at the heart of every modern, automated packaging system.
The company offers a complete design, manufacture, installation and after sales service of which all TM customers will now also be able to take full advantage. Request free introductory details about products from TM Robotics (Europe) ...
