Robots offer long arm and decent payload capacity
The SR-HZ series of Palletising Robots from TM Robotics, the exclusive European partner to Toshiba Machine, feature an impressive payload of 50 or 70 kg.
The move is part of a concerted campaign to continually improve the effectiveness of the Toshiba Machine sales network across Europe.
As part of the new agreement, Orfer will be exhibiting a Toshiba Machine TH350 SCARA robot at PacTec-Elko 2004.
The show will be held in the Helsinki Fair Centre, from 12th to15th October.

"This new venture will bring crucial local knowledge and understanding to our offering in Finland".
"It will also add new depth to Orfer's product range".
"We believe the Toshiba Machine range of SCARA robots to be the widest in Europe, in terms of range of arm length and payload".
"Coupled with the fast speeds and accuracy demanded by the plastics industry this provides a compelling sales case for our new Finnish partner to present".
At PacTec-Elko Orfer will be on stand 6K19, which will also feature a range of other automation products provided by the company.
The Toshiba Machine TH-350 robot on display provides better accuracy and repeatability than other SCARAs of its size as well as providing quick cycle times.
It features absolute encoders as standard, dispensing with the need for a home return function.
Combined with payloads of up to 3kg and repeatability of +/-0.01mm this results in a package capable of meeting the most demanding plastics industry applications.
The Toshiba Machine range of SCARAs extends from the TH-250 and TH-350, which have arm lengths of 250 and 350mm, respectively, and the general purpose SCARAs with arm lengths between 420 and 1200mm, to the large palletising SCARAs, with a 1950mm arm length and a payload capacity up to 70kg.
