TM Robotics has agreed a new alliance with Turkish systems integrator EMS Robotik.

TM Robotics has agreed a new alliance with Turkish systems integrator EMS Robotik.

As a result, EMS Robotik now offers the Toshiba Machine range of SCARA robots as well as the Shibaura Cartesian linear actuator, or ROIBot.

The move is part of a concerted campaign to continually improve the effectiveness of the Toshiba Machine sales network across Europe.

Since its formation, EMS Robotik has worked on projects including the only automated alternator assembly line in the world, airbag testing, automotive component manufacturing and plastic injection moulding.

"TM Robotics is the exclusive European sales partner of Toshiba Machine", said Sahin Kirici, Managing Director of EMS Robotik.

"This allows us access to arguably the largest range of SCARA in Europe".

"The Toshiba Machine range of SCARAs extends from the TH-250 and TH-350, which have arm lengths of 250 and 350mm, respectively to the general purpose SCARAs with arm lengths between 420 and 1200mm".

"There are also large palletising SCARAs, with a 1950mm arm length and a payload capacity up to 70kg".

"This entire range is well suited to our needs; allowing us the scope to meet almost any requirement a customer might have".

"EMS Robotik has continued to expand, seeking out new industries and developing an enviable portfolio of services and products", said Nigel Smith, Managing Director of TM Robotics".

"Over the last two years it has been adding staff and taking on new premises as well as increasing its expertise in conveyor systems and production line automation".

"For this reason, it is the ideal Turkish partner for a growing company like ourselves".
