High-speed interface has precise synchronisation
Trio Motion Technology will be launching a new Sercos communications interface board at the Drives and Controls show at the NEC in Birmingham.
PCI card features eight-axis control
Trio Motion Technology's stand at the Drives and Controls Exhibition in June will feature the full range of motion co-ordinators offering up to 24 axes of control, I/O for up to 256 channels, together
The Ethernet daughterboard brings internet connectivity to the company's motion controllers, enabling remote performance monitoring, Trio basic program up/download, maintenance, diagnostic, and program development.
The Sercos daughterboard permits digital drive control using a single fibre-optic cable, significantly reducing installation costs and enhancing operational reliability.
Up to eight axes per board can be controlled, with multiple boards providing for up to 24 axes.
Also new for the show will be the Trio MC224 motion controller, featuring one to 24 axis capability, USB and CAN interfaces built-in, 1Mbyte application memory and a removable memory module for program transfers.
Exhibited for the first time in the UK since it's launch August 2001, is the MC206, a compact 5.5-axis DIN rail mounted controller.
Offering a 'first in motion control' both the MC224 and MC206 allow web enabled axis upgrades.
Camgen, a new software module, will be demonstrated for the first time.
This is designed to simplify the task of producing Trio Basic programs involving CAM shapes.
A range of standard shapes is available which can be parameterised for many applications, including SIN curves with ramp, dwell and constant speed areas.
Trio Motion Technology is also pleased to announce that Wyko Industrial Services have agreed to distribute the company's product range.
"Trio's range of high quality products enables Wyko to offer the market whatever the customer needs, from the Sercos interface which complements our amplifiers to the excellent analogue and stepper controllers", commented Ajay Karavadra, Business Development Manager for motion control products at Wyko.
