Linear actuator features unguided carriage system

A Tolomatic product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jan 13, 2009

The MXB-U belt-driven linear actuator from Tolomatic features an unguided carriage system that is capable of velocities of up to 200in/sec and accelerations of up to 1,200in/sec2.

Designed for automated assembly, milling or work-centre positioning of externally guided parts, the MXB-U actuator is suitable for applications that require high linear velocities and accelerations, long stroke lengths and high duty cycles.

'With Tolomatic's Endurance Technology for extended service life and the actuator's low guide plate height, the MXB-U can handle the most demanding motion control applications,' said Aaron Dietrich, electric product manager, Tolomatic.
