The tapered body of a paddle of GRP, used in an effluent treatment plant required a reusable M8 thread to fix a removable wing.

A closed end Stainless Steel Rivet Nut met the extreme chemical conditions and prevented the ingress of contaminated material but the paddle shape meant a variation in thickness of GRP from 4mm to 6mm making the choice of grip range crucial.

Torque Control supplied not only the Rivet Nuts with sufficient grip range to accommodate the variation but the technical expertise for the correct selection and tooling.
