Jumpers set for Swiss trains
Tyco Electronics has won a contract from Bombardier to provide 15/25kV cable assemblies as well as inter-car jumpers for the new ICN2 tilting trains in Switzerland.
Tyco Electronics recently won a contract from Bombardier, providing 15/25kV cable assemblies as well as inter-car jumpers for the new ICN2 tilting trains in Switzerland The trains will operate on the conventional Swiss tracks
The inter-car jumpers were specially designed to account for the bigger movements between the cars due to the vehicle geometry and relatively tight track curves.
Raychem inter-car jumpers offer a very low vertical profile, are fully insulated to 25kV and have a very long flex life.
The Raychem 25kV cable assemblies offer a low profile, polymer-based lightweight design that requires neither maintenance nor cleaning. Request free introductory details about products from Tyco Electronics UK ...
