The housing material is self-extinguishing halogen free Polyamide 6.6, which meets UL94V0 requirements, and post tin-plated contacts with nickel underplate allow for use in corrosive environments.
Tyco Electronics' Eurostyle terminal blocks are available with centrelines of 2.54, 3.5, 3.81, 5.0, 5.08, 7.5, 7.62, 10.0 and 10.16mm.
All devices feature VDE, UL and CSA approvals and are interchangeable with most existing products.
The PCB footprint is fully compatible with existing industry standards.
Use of the terminal blocks is very diverse in applications such as HVAC equipment, security and alarm systems, industrial machinery, elevators and escalators, power supplies, process controls and instrumentation.
