Tyco and FCI cross-license power connectors

Tyco Electronics has announced that its Minipak HDL power distribution connector range has been licensed with FCI.
The Minipak HDL connector product provides very high power and signal density in a low-profile co-planar package that sits less than 9mm above the PCB surface.
The Minipak HDL power distribution connector range is now licensed with FCI
This product offers a current density of 150 amps per linear inch along with 2mm pitch signal contacts, which is said to provide reductions in both overall length and height compared to alternative designs.
