The 3rd Annual Offshore Communications Conference and Exhibition (OC 2003) will be held in Houston, Texas, on 26th-29th August 2003 at the luxurious, new Inter-Continental Hotel.

The 3rd Annual Offshore Communications Conference and Exhibition (OC 2003) will be held in Houston, Texas, on 26th-29th August 2003 at the luxurious, new Inter-Continental Hotel OC 2003 is focused on the communications requirements between the shore and floating or fixed platforms offshore, as well as the submarine fibre-optics telecommunications industry

It will address the existing and future needs for sending voice, data and video to ships, oil and gas platforms and buoys in both coastal and remote areas of the world and the use, installation and maintenance of telecommunications cables.

In addition to satellite, wireless, fibre-optic networks and legislation and regulation, the conference will feature several additional tracks, covering IT solutions, submarine telecommunications, sub-sea cable installation and maintenance, sub-sea acoustic communications, offshore security and ocean observing systems.

This years event features a state-of-the-art exhibition hall with the latest communications technologies available.

The conference will be held in a classroom setting, and will bring delegates up to date with the latest communications solutions for the offshore industry.
