Toshiba Imaging Systems Division has appointed Gary R Pitre to the position of Eastern Regional Sales Manager reporting to Vince Giovinco, National Sales Manager.

Toshiba Imaging Systems Division has appointed Gary R Pitre to the position of Eastern Regional Sales Manager reporting to Vince Giovinco, National Sales Manager.

A veteran manager of industrial video products for the machine vision industry, Pitre will oversee all sales activities for Toshiba's industrial video cameras in the eastern region of North America.

Most recently, Pitre was North American Sales Manager at Leutron Vision.

He has also held key sales executive positions with Dalsa Corp and PPT Vision.

"We are excited about the appointment of Gary Pitre to our team", says Yasuo Enami, Vice President of Sales and Marketing of the Toshiba Imaging Systems Division.

He adds: "Gary's background in frame grabbers and machine vision cameras will enable us to dramatically expand our sales of 3CCD colour cameras and make significant sales strides for the coming years with all our video products into the vertical markets in which we compete".
