Hydraulic hose now much easier to connect
Hydraulic hose is much easier to connect and disconnect thanks to an ingenious new hydraulic coupling launched in the UK by Tom Parker of Preston.
Additionally, a snap-in, panel-mount insert can now be specified with shut-off valves to maintain pressure or stop flow at the equipment panel.
With CPC's patented thumb-latch design up to six tubes can be disconnected at the push of a button and reconnected just as easily.
Correct line orientation is assured as the insert is keyed to the coupling's body.
The Sixtube polypropylene inserts are available for non-valved versions providing chemical resistance to acids, caustic solutions and gases.
Individually sealed tube connections, sized for 1/16" or 1/8" ID tubing, have EPDM O-rings for leak-free reliability in vacuums or pressures up to 100psi.
They are suitable for use in: pneumatic control panels, analytical equipment, printing, packaging equipment, photochemicals, sampling lines and chemical dispensing.
