Customised masks, vacuum formed by Toolcraft Plastics of Swindon, have replaced tapped entry ports of pumps in the paint shop area at a local manufacturer to prevent ingress of excess paint The masks just 'snap' into place and in addition to making better quality paint job, are re-usable hence very economic

"In spite of relatively low volume production, using in-house tool design and manufacture allows us to customise each job economically" quotes John Hemsworth, managing director at Toolcraft.

Whilst there are quite a number of different pump sizes some have standard ports allowing some masks to be used on more than one pump.

Additionally some masks are made up in two parts for economy of production and easy use on multiple jobs.

Quality management at Toolcraft is to BS EN ISO 9002 throughout.
