Tapflo Pumps was asked to replace conventional pumps on Mr Kipling's fondant fancy line back in 1998.

Tapflo Pumps was asked to replace conventional pumps on Mr Kipling's fondant fancy line back in 1998.

Since then the pumps have handled all flavours of his famous fondant, including for a short period Coca Cola flavour.

Stoppages due to pump failure have gone from almost fortnightly to once in 4 years with an incalculable cost saving.

Fondant has all the characteristics of thick cream but with added problems of sugar and powder additives to make it very abrasive.

The unique design of the Tapflo diaphragm helped alleviate cleaning and abrasion issues.

The same pumps are also used for decanting denture fix from IBC.
