Mag-drive pumps extend to smaller applications

A Tapflo (UK) product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Oct 25, 2006

Single-stage centrifugal magnetic drive pumps offer safe effective pumping of aggressive chemicals and hazardous materials.

Tapflo Pumps has extended its magnetic drive pump portfolio with the addition of the small STN series.

The units are exclusively manufactured by Tapflo in its new high-tech production facilities in Gdansk, Poland.

They are of single-stage centrifugal design, and offer safe effective pumping of aggressive chemicals and hazardous materials.

The mag-drive system eliminates the potential for product to leak.

Available with motor powers from 0.12 to 0.55kW, the pumps can run from three-phase, single-phase and 110V motor supplies, and special voltages are available on request.

Polypropylene and PVDF construction materials enable them to cover the majority of chemicals used in industry today.

The pumps are designed to suit small chemical transfer applications, OEM markets, surface treatment, metal finishing and bio-diesel manufacture.
