Jargon buster cuts through the ATEX jungle
ABB has published an "ATEX jargon buster" that helps motor users cut through the jungle of terms and definitions that make up the new ATEX Directives.
During the 90-minute event, Mallon will address the guests about how the engineering sector is contributing to the region's economy and where it fits in the area's wider economic strategy.
Malcolm Potter, Chairman of the Tees Valley Engineering Partnership, will also comment on the partnership's vision for the future of Tees Valley engineering and how the TVEP's members are developing a long-term strategy that will benefit, and add value to, the local engineering sector.
Membership of the TVEP already includes Senior Managers, Directors and engineers from some of the region's most influential engineering organisations and this special "introductory briefing" will give other companies the chance to learn more about how they are working together to promote the region's engineering capability locally, nationally, and on a global scale.
Malcolm Potter said: "There are undoubtedly a huge number of highly skilled engineers within the Tees Valley region and a good number of companies with world-class capabilities".
"We want to give these experts the chance to have their say on how the industry moves forward".
"Ultimately, our aim is to help ensure that the Tees Valley's engineering companies remain competitive and profitable, while also getting the wider recognition they deserve".
"This breakfast briefing will allow local engineering companies to get a real sense of how they can help us achieve this and show them how the engineering sector can benefit the wider Tees Valley region".
"We are also providing all our guests with a free English breakfast, so that they can enjoy a good start to the day".
