Davison adds marketing expertise

He is currently Managing Director of the Wolviston Group, a professional recruitment and employment agency, with over 1000 engineers worldwide.
The Tees Valley Engineering Partnership, funded by One NorthEast, is an active alliance of engineering organisations from throughout the region, working together to ensure the local engineering sector remains competitive and profitable.
Its marketing group was set up to increase the profile and reputation of the partnership and the engineering industry as a whole, both within the UK and abroad.
It will also work to promote the TVEP strategy in line with existing economic plans and make recommendations regarding future developments.
In his role as Chairman of the Marketing Group, Robin, who is undertaking the position alongside his normal full-time job, will co-ordinate the other volunteer members and report back to Malcolm Potter, Manager of the Tees Valley Engineering Partnership.
Davison said: "I am delighted to have been given the role and I would certainly encourage other organisations and individuals to sign up as TVEP members".
"The partnership is open to any company working within, and supporting, the engineering sector and we are keen to attract more marketing group members who can support the vision of the TVEP and are passionate about engineering".
Potter added: "One of the partnership's primary concerns is to help ensure there is a sufficient supply of skilled and competent personnel for the local engineering sector, something Robin has learnt much about in his role at the Wolviston Group".
"These factors, coupled with his extensive hands-on experience and passion for the industry, made him an ideal contact for the role of Marketing Group Chair".
