O-ring gripper handles heavy duties

The new GS1015 O-ring gripper is suitable for the largest, heaviest O-ring placement applications.

The new GS1015 O-ring gripper from Techno-Sommer provides more of everything needed to do the largest, heaviest O-ring placement applications.

The new model has 10 expanding jaws with 12mm stroke each, providing a more uniform spread of the O-ring requiring less overall expansion to get it over the part.

The ejector now has 15 mm stroke to push off O-rings.

And, most important of all, the piston diameter has been increased to 75mm as compared to the 25mm on the GS65, to provide over five times more expansion force to expand even the toughest O-ring.

Some other features of the new design make it even more suited for the toughest applications.

The expander jaws travel within t-slot guides throughout their entire length of stroke to provide exceptional resistance to any side loads.

The only small things about this new product are its price and size.

The unit is only 100mm in diameter and the expanders travel entirely within the body diameter.

For all the new and improved features that have been added to this unit, the price has also been kept small, especially compared to custom designed models.
