Excellent for assemblies and multiple pick-and-place applications, these miniature grippers come in four different sizes.

Techno-Sommer Automatic has launched the MGW800 Series of miniature angular grippers, the second series of new miniature grippers designed for use in small electronic and packaging applications.

Excellent for assemblies and multiple pick-and-place applications, these miniature grippers come in four different sizes beginning at 12 x 10 x 26mm.

"The biggest advantage of the MGW-800 gripper series is their small size and ability to fit into tight spaces".

"They are the perfect choice for picking up small electronic components", said Sales Manager Costas Charalambous.

"Because of their miniature size, the MGW800 series allows manifolding through the bottom mounting surface".

"This eliminates side air fittings and increases the number of grippers that can be mounted closely together".

The MGW800 Series was designed to ensure maximum force and moment resistance, high-precision and play-free guides.

The grippers have up to 1.1Nm grip torque and stroke per jaw of 37.5 degrees.

Jaw position, whether opened or closed, can be sensed through the use of magnetic sensors, providing positive feedback.
