TR has launched one of the world's first incremental encoders which can be programmed for steps per turn.

TR has launched one of the world's first incremental encoders which can be programmed for steps per turn.

The resolution of the encoder is 1 to 32768 pulses per revolution and can be factory set according to customer requirements or the user can program the device on site with the aid of software.

This has the obvious advantage of reducing stockholding where numerous encoders have to be stocked just due to the variation in pulses per revolution.

The industry standard 58 mm body comes with either 6 mm or 10mm shaft and flying leads or connectors which can be radial or axial in orientation.

Outputs may be 11-27V push pull or 5vdc (RS 422).

Channels: K1, K2, K0 plus inv.

Frequency up to 300KHz at 5V.
