Occasionally a new control product comes along that changes designers' and manufacturers' approaches to the design of their control systems, and TR Systemtechnik has launched such a product.

ActiveIO is an innovative new fieldbus I/O system ActiveIO is a major step in fieldbus engineering in that it offers manufacturers and designers the capability to build control systems scaleable in functionality and size

All major fieldbus systems are offered and controllers have full Ethernet capability with IP addressing allowing access to controls systems using the Internet.

PLC functions are integrated into controllers to reduce fieldbus activity by distributing control to local or slave nodes.

To complete ActiveIO, an extensive range of I/O modules is offered including axis and cam controllers allowing the user to build extensive controls systems independent of any master control.

ActiveIO is capable of being integrated from small to the largest systems and is equally adaptable when integrated into existing control systems.

In addition to being an exiting new control concept, ActiveIO is physically designed and engineered to meet the toughest environments.

Particular attention is given to all aspects of mechanical design with tough aluminium frames, patented DIN-rail mounting system and modular or compact housings available to suit each application.

Full details of all ActiveIO products can be found at www.activeio.de.
