The MMV200 comes complete with motor, absolute encoder, power electronics, closed loop position controller and a fieldbus interface.

TR Controls has released the MMV200 intelligent positioning drive.

Compared to the MD300, the smaller MMV200 offers high levels of continuous performance at a low cost.

The MMV200 comes complete with motor, absolute encoder, power electronics, closed loop position controller and a fieldbus interface offering easy and cost-effective decentralised drive technology.

With the MMV200, change-over and set-up tasks are managed quickly and in an automated way.

MMV200 is also highly dynamic, responsive and accurate.

Application areas include cyclic positioning tasks for machine tools, transfer lines and special purpose machinery.

It is suitable for production machines in the packaging, woodworking, marking, labelling and printing industries.

Supply voltages range from 24V DC to 48V DC.

Fieldbus options include CANopen and Profibus.

TR's absolute multi-turn encoder ensures that position detection is guaranteed even at a dead voltage condition.
