The UK Optoelectronic Chemical Sensing Network is to hold a free workshop on Thursday 7th September as part of the Instrumentation Scotland and Offshore exhibition.

The UK Optoelectronic Chemical Sensing Network (OptoCem.Net) is to hold a free workshop on Thursday 7th September as part of the Instrumentation Scotland and Offshore exhibition taking place at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre on 6th and 7th September 2006.

OptoCem.Net is a DTI Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) that aims to stimulate collaborative R and D, encourage commercial exploitation and promote best use of optoelectronic gas and chemical sensing in the water/environment and the oil/gas industry.

The free workshop will focus on Optocem.Net activities, including its continuing work on roadmapping, by sharing and debating the ideas to date and seeking further inputs.

The workshops will finish at 1200 BST, followed by free lunch provided by Trident Exhibitions as part of the exhibition.
