New to the Trident Engineering range of small DC motors is the 17S from API Portescap.

Only 17mm in diameter and 18mm long it has been developed to the highest specification to meet applications requiring high levels of performance and reliability in a small space.

The 17S incorporates an ironless core rotor and rare earth magnets that provide low power loss, low inertia, minimal friction, has a long life and can be accelerated quickly up to 12,400 rpm.

This motor is aimed at products with limited space that require high levels of smoothness and control such as security cameras.

The low power consumption also makes it ideal for all battery operated equipment such as medical pumps and hand-held instruments.
