Now available from Trident Engineering is a new 16mm DC motor gearhead combination from Canon that provides a small and powerful, yet highly economical, drive solution for many applications such as CCTV pan and tilt mechanisms, X-Y movement systems, medical pumps and scientific instrumentation.

The Canon DG16L is a series of high precision, 1.5W skew wound, ironcore motors supplied with a range of planetary gearheads.

Versions with supply voltages of 12 and 24V in ratios of 20:1, 107:1 and 242:1 giving output speeds from 40 to 570 rev/min and torque from 11.8mNm and 147mNm are available from stock.

Other ratios can be supplied to order for special applications.
