Now available exclusively in the UK from Trident Engineering is the BN42, a 42mm brushless DC motor from Canon The BN42 is available in both standard and high power versions that at 24V have starting torques of 200 and 450mNm, respectively
These new motors have a long service life and the low cogging operation creates an extremely smooth movement.
This, combined with low inertia and high peak torque that provides fast acceleration as well as excellent speed control characteristics makes the BN42 ideal for printers, high-speed actuators and robotics.
