Tork claims to have launched a revolution in shock absorption technology for the machine tools and material handling industries The company's new range of adjustable shock absorbers have a wide range of applications in robotics, machine tools, SPM, pick and place robots, pneumatics, CNC, linear modules, automotive automation, low cost automation and vacuum circuit breakers

The basic application is to absorb uncontrolled energy that could result into a impact in a system.

Controlled linear deceleration allows increased operating speeds, higher equipment productivity, reduced maintenance, reduced noise pollution and minimised reaction forces.

These shock absorbers are hydraulic, and feature a tuning knob to adjust their deceleration (or hardness level).

Their low cost and superior quality provide an edge over existing conventional solutions.

Most sizes are available ex-stock or can be delivered within a week.
