Mesh partitioning is translucent safety barrier
A new range of wire mesh partitioning offering a much greater choice of mesh sizes and dimensions to provide unrivalled flexibility.
Partitioning specialist Troax UK has developed a new range of wire mesh partitioning offering a much greater choice of mesh sizes and dimensions to provide unrivalled flexibility for creating storage areas, secure enclosures, perimeter protection systems and industrial walls in warehouses and other types of industrial environment.
Based on Troax's successful Scimitar partitioning, the new range of Caelum wire mesh panels can now be supplied in a much wider choice of dimensions, with two mesh aperture sizes and three mesh diameters.
This enables customers to specify a design that meets their exact requirements, offering three levels of security, whatever the size of the project.
The new 50 x 50mm mesh aperture size is sturdier than the previous 50 x 70mm size, offers greater security as it is virtually impossible for a hand to reach through it, and offers a cost-effective partitioning solution for internal perimeter protection, secure enclosures and dividing walls.
In applications where high security is essential, a 25mm mesh size is available.
This is ideal for the storage of aerosols and other flammable, hazardous products, the tight mesh size preventing the escape of shards in the event of an explosion, or for high value items such as cigarettes, alcohol or mobile phones, preventing items being passed through the mesh apertures.
The increased choice of mesh aperture sizes, diameters and mesh thicknesses provides varying levels of security, making Caelum suitable for an exceptionally wide variety of applications, from the simple division of internal spaces through to the construction of high security storage enclosures.
Caelum panels are constructed from steel mesh welded to a tubular frame to give optimum strength between wire and tube.
All panels now incorporate specially designed horizontal tubes that give the panel additional strength while reinforcing and straightening the mesh, making dividing walls exceptionally strong and sturdy.
Using wire mesh rather than full steel partitioning offers a number of advantages: mesh creates a "translucent" and fully visible environment, it improves ventilation and air circulation, improves lighting of the area and most importantly, allows smoke and heat to filter through to trigger smoke detection systems and allows the effective penetration of sprinkler systems in the event of a fire.
All Troax ranges, including partitioning, machine fencing, anti-collapse systems and mesh shelving are available ex-stock.
