Industrial safety and partitioning specialist Troax UK is highlighting its wide range of modular machine fencing systems at this year's Machine Building Exhibition.
Industrial safety and partitioning specialist Troax UK is highlighting its wide range of modular machine fencing systems at this year's Machine Building Exhibition.
Its Rapid Fix machine fencing system, a versatile and easy-to-install safety fencing solution suitable for virtually any type of industrial environment, will be the centrepiece of the company's display.
Rapid Fix is designed to be exceptionally quick and easy to install - in around a third of the time required by conventional guarding systems.
It is used widely throughout industry, in particular to protect personnel working in areas where industrial robots and other automated equipment are in operation.
Assembled and dismantled by one operative using just an Allen key, its quick demounting facility means maintenance staff can quickly gain access to the guarded area to carry out servicing or repairs, helping to reduce machine downtime.
The machine fencing also saves floor space within the production area as its unique 100mm x 23mm mesh aperture enables it to be placed very close to the automated machinery.
Rapid Fix meets all current machine safety standards such as EN953 and EN292.
There is also an opportunity to see Troax's Rapid Fix machine fencing on the Motoman stand (RO1) where it will be shown guarding an automated robot, conveyor and racking.
Also on display will be Troax's new Toledo clean-room partitioning system, a versatile modular panel system designed to meet the air cleanliness requirements of a wide range of markets such as the electronics and semiconductor, pharmaceutical, healthcare, aerospace, precision engineering, biotechnology, automotive, food and drink and sterile packaging industries.
Quick and easy to install, Toledo medium specification partitioning is a modular, double skin system of steel, monobloc construction and uses inert and particle shedding finish.
It is fully demountable for maximum flexibility.
Ideal for clean rooms where extra sealing and flush surfaces are a necessity, Toledo incorporates a number of design features to prevent the collection of particles and ensure easy to clean, smooth surfaces.
Its two line junction has a flush line cover channel, a flush line double glazing system, minimal ledges and corners and flush surfaces with coved profiles and skirting, with silicone seals to completely seal all joints.
In addition to machine fencing and perimeter protection systems, Troax's product range also includes anti-collapse pallet rack safety screens, wire mesh shelving and storage enclosures, modular steel and wire mesh partitioning systems, as well as a variety of locking systems.
