And although it is generally accepted that a reduction in product development lead times can equate to a significant financial return, what many are asking is how.
What if marketing need a model tonight, engineering need to test a component at over 100C this week or production need to trial an assembly line this month? Is it possible? The seminars aim to increase awareness of the techniques available and demonstrate their applicability to industry.
Relaxed and informal, they are free of charge and include a buffet lunch.
Current confirmed dates are: in Newbury on Thursday 10th April 2003 and Wednesday 18th June 2003; and in Telford on Wednesday 9th July 2003.
Geoff Kerr, a Senior Design Engineer at Delphi Delco Electronics attended a recent seminar and commented: "The presentation material was very informative, educational and enjoyably unbiased in its content.
For design engineers who have to maintain an awareness of all trends within all disciplines of the product development, this type of seminar covering the leading edge technological advancements in rapid prototyping is invaluable".
