3T appoints Ian Halliday as CEO to lead e-manufacturing push.

3T has appointed Ian Halliday as CEO.

Halliday has experience in the rapid prototyping and tooling field, including the set-up and management of a number of facilities in the UK and Europe.

In addition to his technical and managerial capabilities, he has an understanding of the business and strategic implications of e-manufacturing.

3T operates the largest laser sintering capability in the UK and the company has established itself as one of the top three laser sintering service bureaus worldwide.

As the drive towards e-manufacturing accelerates, laser sintering is considered a key technology for fast, flexible and cost-effective production of end-use parts directly from electronic data.

3T provides laser sintering services to customers from blue chip multi-nationals to independent inventors.
