UviGuard is billed as a revolutionary patented technology in the field of UV absorbers.

After several years of intensive research, testing and development, Tri E Technologies is introducing UviGuard, the next generation of high performance UV absorbers UviGuard is an inorganic compound of mixed metal oxides fused in a glass matrix

This product offers significant advantages over both conventional organic and inorganic UV absorbers.

UviGuard offers a high level of UV absorption across the entire ultraviolet spectrum from 200 to 400nm.

This includes the full UV-A, UV-B and UV-C ranges.

Being essentially an engineered glass, this product is highly transparent and therefore offers exceptional clarity in whichever matrix it is used.

UviGuard is very stable in all types of plastics, coatings, resins, and cosmetic bases.

It has unlimited compatibility with most conventional carriers and will not migrate.

It has extremely high heat resistance in excess of 350C.

UviGuard is significantly more transparent than even the finest particle sized zinc oxide and titanium dioxide.

It rivals the clarity of the organic benzatriazoles, HALs and benzophenones.

Another distinct advantage, UviGuard is so transparent it does not impart colour or have the whitening effect that zinc oxide or titanium dioxide have issues with.

UviGuard is extremely inert and safe for handling and human contact.

UviGuard does not contain any dangerous heavy metals.

UviGuard has little or no solubility and extremely nonreactive to most chemicals.

UviGuard offers high performance at significant cost savings.

UviGuard is nonabrasive and is available in extremely fine particle sizes (5um and finer).

UviGuard is available in powder and slurry forms.
