A new strain relief clamp that fits onto the back of standard RF coaxial connectors and prevents damage to cables caused by repeated flexing is being introduced by Tru-Connector Corporation of Peabody, Massachusetts The Tru-Connector SR-Series strain relief clamp attachment screws onto the back of their RF coaxial connectors to provide support where cables are subjected to repeated flexing

Featuring a rolling clamp nut that prevents distortion of the cable which can be caused by over-tightening, this strain relief clamp will not alter the cable's electrical characteristics.

It is constructed from nickel- or silver plated brass.
