A full line of 7-16 RF coaxial connectors that are now available with a positive locking quick-disconnect coupling for hard-to-reach applications is being introduced by Tru-Connector Corporation of Peabody, Massachusetts.

Tru-Connector's QD16 Coaxial Connector is a 7-16 series RF connector that features a male coupling with a positive locking.

Spring-loaded sleeve and integral balls, which seat into a corresponding groove on the female to mate securely.

Eliminating the need for threading nuts and tools, this design is ideal for hard-to-reach applications where easy on/off is desirable.

Creating a connection that cannot vibrate loose once the sleeve has covered a thin red indicator line, Tru-Connector's QD16 Coaxial Connector is constructed with a silver plated brass body, beryllium-copper contacts, and Teflon insulators.

It provides 50 Ohm impedance, a dielectric withstanding voltage of 4,000 VRMS, and 10,000 Megohms (min.) insulation resistance.

Tru-Connector's QD16 Coaxial Connector is priced at $24.95 (list); with quantity discounts are offered.
