Tru-Connector is pleased to announce the launch of a new 7-16 Connectors Web site through Strand Marketing's Identity Domain service.
Located at 7-16connectors.com this site is an easy reference tool for commercial telecom designers looking to replace type Ns with 7-16 coaxial connectors.
These connectors are ideal replacements when power levels reach over 100 watts per channel.
Male and female panel mount receptacles with 1 inch mounting flanges are available for fast delivery.
They are designed with the type N mounting hole pattern to allow simple conversion from UG-58/U to 7-16.
The mounting plate also features an integral raised conductor seal to create a tight fit, and a female solid outer conductor.
A large selection of 7-16 (aka 7/16) series coaxial connectors are available.
The product line includes plugs, jacks, receptacles, combinations, and adapters with mating interface dimensions conforming to DIN 47223, IEC 169-4, VG 95250, and CEEC 22 190.
Offering several new connection options the site allows users to select an improved "V" groove type clamp, a wedge clamp, crimp, direct solder, or solder clamp design.
These connectors accommodate 50 ohm coaxial cables from.141" to 7/8" inch diameters, with a voltage rating of 2700 VRMS.
Intermodulation performance is >-155 dBc for straight 7-16 connectors with silver contacts and silver bodies.
Applications include cellular base stations and related telecommunications equipment.
The site also allows users to view and download several connector designs as well configure their own connector in their custom design center.
