The main objective of the company, set up by Bryan and David Hurst, is to provide quality prototyping at realistic affordable prices.
Bryan explains: "We are a family run company focused on our customers".
"Whatever they ask for we will deliver, as promised".
"We are all about providing quality products and services".
With 40 years experience as a production engineer in machine tools and mould-tool manufacture, Bryan has been prototyping since 1994, following training at Austin in Texas, and helped introduce SLS into the UK.
Bryan was one of the founders and Director of Amsys RP and T, which merged with the Fitstogether Group in 2002.
He left the company at that time to pursue other projects, including writing the newly published manual "The journeyman's guide to CNC machines" (ISBN 1-4116-9921-1).
A how-to part programming guide based on his experience in the trade.
Son David, a business and marketing student, has himself had experience in prototyping.
They saw the opportunity to re-enter prototyping together a few months ago, since then they have been working hard on setting up Texys RPD.
With Bryan's vast hands on experience and David's business mind and willingness to learn they realised they could fill the gap in the market.
Bryan sums up the company and its ethos: "Just being an engineer is inadequate for the prototyping industry; enthusiasm and commitment to deliver what the customer wants and on our promises, with consistent excellence, is the focus as Texys RPD flies the flag of quality prototyping and quality service".
