Timing belts improve tooth-pitch accuracy

Timing belts have improved tooth-pitch accuracy and shorter lengths to suit smaller travel distances, matching rolled ballscrew accuracy in positioning applications.

Brecoflex Standard Plus timing belts have improved tooth-pitch accuracy and are available in shorter lengths to suit positioning applications requiring smaller travel distances.

The range has been extended to match rolled ballscrew accuracy in positioning applications.

It covers minimum belt lengths between 72 and 170cm and belt pitches T5, T10, AT5 and AT10 in widths up to 10cm.

Maximum lengths up to 12m are available.

Available from Transdev in the UK, the Standard Plus range includes Brecoflex's bifilar, S and Z wound, steel tensioning system which reduces belt run-off and lowers noise levels.

The range results from advances in manufacturing and production control techniques that yield improved tooth-to-tooth pitch accuracy with increased stability over standard products.

Like other Breco timing belts, the range can be supplied with reinforced belt backings, special facing material and anti-static coatings.

Standard and customised pulleys are available for the range.
