Transdev the leading power transmission specialists have been appointed as the exclusive UK distributor for Witra chain products.

Transdev has been appointed as the exclusive UK distributor for Witra chain products The cost-competitive range covers roller and straight-sided chain and is manufactured under the supervision and to the quality standards of the ISO9001 German chain producer Wippermann

The Witra range fully conforms to relevant DIN and ISO standards and includes simplex, duplex and triplex roller and straight sided chain to British and American standards of up to 76.2mm pitch, with extended pitch options.

Available in steel, nickel-plated steel and stainless steel with a choice of chain sprockets to suit; the range also includes various types of attachments.

Wippermann has been associated with Transdev for over 13 years and manufactures high-quality, high-precision steel and stainless steel roller chains for power transmission, conveying and parts handling with a wide range of specialist chain alternatives including leaf chains, bush chains, easy break chains and silent tooth chains.

Transmission Developments, based in Poole, Dorset is a designer, independent manufacturer and supplier of mechanical power transmission and conveying products with three divisions covering belting, chain and engineering plastics.

The company operate under the Transdev trading name.
