A new pair of carbon monoxide analysers from Testo can be relied on to take measurement from a true zero position - even indoors.

A new pair of carbon monoxide analysers from Testo can be relied on to take measurement from a true zero position - even indoors.

Both versions feature an optical and an acoustic alarm which can be freely set to any determined level.

The Testo 315 starts measuring from 0 to 2000ppm of CO, with an accuracy level of 10ppm.

The installer is instantly alerted, and the appropriate action can then be rapidly instigated.

Using a Testo printer with infra-red link, both versions of the Testo 315 can provide time and dated printouts of readings taken at an inspection.

The print out also includes the serial number of the instrument which tallies with the calibration certificate number for the instrument.

This provides the engineer with all the evidence he needs to answer any future questions about the safety of the appliance, and demonstrates that a true zero has been set prior to testing for documentary evidence.

For dedicated CO testing purposes, the Testo 315-2 offers exceptional value at GBP 170.

In addition the Testo 315-1 provides accurate measurement of ambient CO or CO spillage, measurement of gas pressure, ionisation current and temperature, priced at GBP 362.

The engineer is now better protected when monitoring and adjusting gas, oil and solid fuel heating systems.
