Testo has developed an intrinsically safe version of its successful Pt100 thermometer for fast and accurate temperature measurements in hazardous areas.

Testo has developed an intrinsically safe version of its successful Pt100 thermometer for fast and accurate temperature measurements in hazardous areas (Zones 0, 1, 2).

Unlike other Ex thermometers, the Testo Ex-Pt 720 offers flexible measurements with the widest range of high-accuracy Pt100 probes.

Custom probes are also available.

The Testo Ex-Pt 720 also features a wide measuring range of -100 to +800C and high resolution, along with an easy-to-read display, making it suitable for a variety of industrial measurement tasks.

Managing Director, Barry Whittaker, explains: "This is one of a new range of intrinsically safe instruments and data loggers that will soon be available from Testo, developed at the request of customers who rely on the high quality and accuracy of Testo's measuring instruments".
