Vital humidity and temperature tests in
cleanrooms

In pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities and clinical environments, such as clean rooms, operating theatres or filling systems, the need to monitor humidity levels and temperature are essential.

In pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities and clinical environments, such as clean rooms, operating theatres or filling systems, the need to monitor humidity levels and temperature are essential Shortcomings in the correct management of these environments can result in product degradation and failure to adhere to 21 CFR Part 11 according to Testo

The company said it now offers pharmaceutical companies a complete offer for the management of clinical environments, with instruments for continuous monitoring, data logging to 21 CFR Part 11 standard and spot checking of key parameters.

Testo 6340 Differential Pressure Transmitters provide continuous measurement and control of pressure between rooms or zones, whilst the company's Hygrotest Humidity Transmitters provide precise and reliable monitoring of temperature, humidity and the calculation of variables such as dew point and absolute humidity.

Non-volatile memory loggers for secure long-term recording of data to comply with 21 CFR Part 11 and the 400 Reference Measuring Instrument for spot checks to back-up transmitters and loggers provide quick indication of drift and environmental change and the on-site calibration and verification of instruments (via direct connection).

In addition, the company said it could offer UKAS instrument calibration and free on-site instrumentation consultations.

To support the launch of its product offers for the monitoring of critical pharmaceutical environments Testo is offering companies the benefit of an initial consultation with a Testo product manager.

During site visits a product manager would discuss requirements and present an overview of how instrumentation could meet needs. Request a free brochure from Testo ...
