The Testo 319 fibrescope allows visual checks in hard-to-access places such as air conditioning ducts, ventilation systems, machines, motors and heating systems.

The Testo 319 fibrescope allows visual checks in hard-to-access places such as air conditioning ducts, ventilation systems, machines, motors and heating systems.

The flexible fibrescope can be inserted into hollow spaces or bores and around bends to facilitate the visual inspection of internal parts.

Diagnoses such as corrosion, wear and the condition of welded parts can then be made without dismantling components.

It displays 6000 pixels with a field of vision of 50deg, letting objects be brought into sharp focus at a distance of 15mm.

Illumination is provided by two blue LEDs with a life of typically 50,000 hours.

Bend radius is 5cm and shaft diameter 6mm.

The lens and tube are waterproof and can be immersed in oil and gasoline for short periods.

Accessories are available to make the Testo 319 suitable for various applications.

For example, the clip-on mirror attachment (45deg) is for varying the direction of view.

A push-on gooseneck covering is for use where medium flexibility is required, for example when checking air conditioning ducts.

A push-on stable decabon tube is for where a high level of rigidity is required, for example for checking wall insulation.

A magnet attachment and a three-arm gripper are for removing small objects.

It will connect to the Nokia 6600 camera phone for documentation or communication of identified problems.
