Antibacterial/anti-mould plastic chain
available
The plastic Antibacterial/anti-mould MWS series chain has preventive qualities against bacteria such as colon bacillus (e-coil), staphylococcus and lactobacillus, as well as an anti-mould capability
Preventing the growth and spread of bacteria is a major problem for companies in the food industry, and for those that operate bottling and processing plants Now help is at hand in the shape of Tsubaki's new plastic Antibacterial /Anti-mould MWS series chain

10 times more wear life than O-ring sealed chain
Tsubaki has launched X-Lambda, a lube-free chain that provides at least 10 times the working life of conventionally sealed "O" ring chains without any significant loss of transmission efficiency
Chain with 30 times the life
Tsubaki's WP chain can provide 30 times the life of standard and nickel plated chains in wet conditions.
In addition to its preventive qualities against bacteria such as colon bacillus (e-coil), staphylococcus and lactobacillus, the MWS chain has an anti-mould capability that is effective against green and other forms of mould.
The MWS Series of plastic chains is a low wear, friction resistant range that includes Top Chains, Plastic Belt Chains and Plastic Block Chains.
These are complemented by sprockets, idler wheels, return rollers and running rails that are also manufactured with ant-bacteriological properties.
This complete package simplifies the task of installation for the OEM and user.
The MWS series chains can be used on conveyors in bottling plants, conveyors where foodstuffs are carried directly on the chain, and for frozen food and packing conveyors.
In bottling plants the MWS chains are a particular aid in rinsing operations.
They address the problem which occurs during bottling, of mould and bacteria forming on small damp areas on conveyors, as well as areas where beverages have spilt.
Tsubaki MWS Plastic Chain combines inorganic antibacterial features with long wear life.
The chain links elongate uniformly due to the plastic tempering processes that the chain undergoes during manufacturing.
Even if wear occurs on the chain surface, the anti-bacterial and anti-mould characteristics will continue to perform.
The link materials used are ideal for low friction specifications, and there is virtually no change in power and efficiency due to the antibacterial properties that are added. Request a free brochure from Tsubakimoto UK ...
