Higher performance chain for tough
applications
Tsubaki's HT series chain, used in tough and demanding applications such as quarrying, conveying, bulk handling and mobile drives, offers higher performance size-for-size than standard roller chains
Tsubaki's HT series chain offers higher performance size-for-size than standard roller chains It is used in tough and demanding applications such as quarrying, conveying, bulk handling and mobile drive systems, where greater resistance to shock loads and higher ultimate tensile strength is required

10 times more wear life than O-ring sealed chain
Tsubaki has launched X-Lambda, a lube-free chain that provides at least 10 times the working life of conventionally sealed "O" ring chains without any significant loss of transmission efficiency
Chain with 30 times the life
Tsubaki's WP chain can provide 30 times the life of standard and nickel plated chains in wet conditions.
HT series chains are part of Tsubaki's Super Series of high strength chains.
They are especially useful in applications where problems such as fatigue breakage of link plates, generally poor transmission performance and space limitation are experienced.
Because they offer higher performance, Super Chains can generally be specified one or two sizes smaller than the standard roller chains that they replace.
This reduction in size provides advantages in that the chains can be specified in applications where space is at a premium.
HT Series chains have a greater ultimate tensile strength (plus 15~30%) over standard roller chains as a result of employing through hardened pins and thicker side plates.
This construction also means that they provide greater shock load resistance and are ideally suited to applications where frequent reverse loads are experienced.
Applications for HT series chains exist in many heavy industries.
Their rugged construction means that they are used to transmit power to a wide variety of equipment including agitators, compressors, elevators, fans, hoists, rotary kilns, machine tools, rotary mills, mixers, pumps and screens.
Common applications include turning heavy rotating drums, such as barking drums in pulp mills, ball mills in ore processing, or shakeout drums in foundries.
The chains are also used on off-road cranes, agricultural machinery and diggers. Request a free brochure from Tsubakimoto UK ...
