Automatic lubrication keeps chains in
check
Problems of wear, running resistance and noise routinely encountered on conveyor chains can be reduced using the new TGL automatic lubricator.
Problems of wear, running resistance and noise routinely encountered on conveyor chains can be reduced using the new TGL automatic lubricator just introduced by Tsubaki UK Compact and low cost, the automatic lubricator is easy to install and requires no power source, being driven mechanically by the action of the conveyor chain

Tsubaki's WP chain can provide 30 times the life of standard and nickel plated chains in wet conditions.
The TGL lubricator is designed for general use with conveyor chain, but is particularly suited to applications where conveyors are inaccessible, providing a safeguard against unplanned stoppages due to chain seizures.
The automatic nature of the lubricator means that lubricant is applied accurately and consistently, to the crucial areas between pin and bushing and bushing and roller, thus optimising chain performance and also operating costs through reduced use of lubricant.
Installation and setup of the TGL units is both quick and simple, helped by the fact that the lubricator requires no external power source to operate it.
Instead, the lubricator is activated automatically by the chain roller pushing the pump's checker arm to release the set amount of lubricant through the nozzle.
Safeguarding of this operation is provided in the event that the chain backlashes or reverses direction.
Under both conditions, the checker's roller arm will spring backwards and upwards to prevent catching on the chain.
In the event that lubrication needs to be stopped at any time, the checker arm can be manually turned through 90 degrees to prevent it contacting the chain - this operation undertaken once the conveyor is turned off.
The TGL lubricator is supplied as a complete, ready-to-use unit with its own, gravity fed 5-litre oil tank, rubber hose, copper piping, fittings, nozzles for accurate oil delivery and attachment plates. Request a free brochure from Tsubakimoto UK ...
