PortStore is a novel serial-Ethernet communication device with a 512Kbyte buffer for storing serial data.

PortStore is a novel serial-Ethernet communication device with a 512Kbyte buffer for storing serial data.

PortStore is typically used for storing and providing remote access (via TCP/IP) to billing data in a PBX system but it can be used anywhere there is a requirement to store and provide remote access to serial data.

PortStore can be easily configured to generate an e-mail when the buffer is approaching its storage capacity (75% full and 95% full) and also to warn of a power supply failure.

Basic security is provided with a user definable IP address access range but a more sophisticated 128bit TEA cipher may alternatively be employed.
