Anyone who needs to reliably transmit digital I/O, without wires, over a distance of up to 200m and needs quick and simple installation should look at the new WIOLink.

According to TR Control Solutions, anyone who needs to reliably transmit digital I/O, without wires, over a distance of up to 200m and needs quick and simple installation should look at the new WIOLink.

Each WIOLink has eight digital inputs and eight digital outputs that are accessed via standard screw terminals.

When two paired WIOLinks are provided with power (7-30V DC or 4.5-5.5V DC via internal link option) the units automatically search for their pair and if the units are within range a secure link will be established.

Once paired an input on one WIOLink will produce a corresponding output on the paired WIOLink and vice versa.

WIOLink outputs can sink or source up to 1A (maximum) per channel.

WIOLink is packaged in a rugged DIN-rail enclosure with easy access to the IO terminals.

Removal of the front cover enables access to an RS232 port, which can provide direct access to the Bluetooth module or the onboard microcontroller if reprogramming is required.
