The Tuthill Pump Group's cartridge lubrication pumps are compact, low-cost, side-ported internal gear pumps that are designed to bolt either onto the customer's equipment or into it leaving just the cover surface mounted Their low-profile characteristics make these pumps ideal for applications where pumps can be vulnerable to impact damage

Typical applications include gearboxes/transmissions, compressors, machine tools and turbines.

A major feature of Tuthill's cartridge pumps, which are shaft driven, is the option to fit the company's mechanical reversing system.

This ensures constant lubrication flow irrespective of shaft rotation.

It is an internal, mechanical modification that has only minimal effect on the overall length.

All other dimensions and fitting arrangements stay the same.

The pumps are available in nine sizes and have flow rates ranging from 3.4 up to 304 litre/min and can be supplied with internal, external or both porting configurations.

Externally mounted pumps can be fitted with lip seals to prevent air ingression if oil levels in the equipment to be lubricated are below the centre line of the pump shaft.
